The Green Cell Process

The Green Cell serves our portfolio companies through a proprietary process that combines:

  • Close collaboration between portfolio companies that leverages their innovation.
  • An incessant drive to deliver measurable Climate Action.
  • Knowledge of the local and global funding landscape, and each region’s needs for solutions.
  • In house research & development, industrial design, and scalable production know-how to accurately define TRL/MRL levels, and continually optimize supply chains and distribution.
  • The Green Engine that utilizes blockchain and AI to continually verify the social, environmental, and economic impact of the portfolio companies’ products and projects.

The Green Cell: A Cell to Drive Innovation

Every year, billions of dollars’ worth of scientific research goes to waste as a consequence of the industrial and corporate barriers to sharing science, knowledge, and research.

The Green Cell is the disruptive force which, through an innovative and protected process, opens the door to multi-discipline, cross-vertical collaboration between Projects and Scientists while still fostering their independent expansion.

The Green Cell is home to the following specialized and interconnected labs:

  • Industrial Design Lab
  • Living Land Lab
  • Chemical Materials Lab
  • Business Lab
  • Prototyping Lab

The Green Engine

OGV will invest in developing The Green Engine as an end-to-end blockchain-driven technology that will provide an internal verification platform for the OGV portfolio companies and will be offered as a standalone product for external stakeholders seeking to measure Lifetime Carbon Balance, Product Life Cycle Analysis, Potential Carbon Credit Capacity, and ESG/SDG Indicators.

CARBON

  •  Annual and Lifetime Carbon Balance (LCB) emissions calculations to ISO standard, GHG protocol.
  • Product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).
  • Development and implementation guidance on emissions reductions and carbon removal strategies.
  • Carbon project development, Project Design Document preparation.

REGENERATION

  • Developing and implementing regenerative supply chain projects
  • Actions to support supply chain partners to improve practices and report progress.
  • Support to achieve SDGs and ESG targets.

ESG REPORTING

  • Produce ESG reports for members and partners.
